Dr. Frank Crist attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1990. He also earned his certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in oral biology from UMKC. He has been practicing his specialty, orthodontics, since 1994.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Crist stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in the orthodontic field by holding memberships in many professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists and the Tweed Study Club of the Midwest.

Along with running his own orthodontic practice, Dr. Crist has also been an assistant clinical professor in the graduate orthodontic department of UMKC since 1999. He shares his knowledge with students by teaching the orthodontic residents.
